Like Justine, Eric got a newly remodeled room this year. He got to pick
out the colors and the new furniture. Great loft!.
Eric got to try Spelunking this year. He and his dad tried it out with
two good friends. It was a little spooky.

After a day of skiing at Kirkwood.
He broke his arm while learning the hurdles last Spring in Track.
It healed very quickly and now is as good as new.
His big project is his car. Last Spring he bought an old MG Midget
(1976) from a local salvage yard.
He and his dad got the engine running during the summer (so Eric got
to drive it around the block a few times) but then they sold the engine on
Craigslist.
They are now converting the car to electric-drive.
If all goes well it may be ready for Eric to drive when he gets
his license this coming Spring.
Eric has been running lots. Track in the Spring, cross-country in the
Fall, and some weekend runs with his mom or dad (and the dog) as well.
He and his dad rented motorcycles for a few days and rode on dirt
trails while camping in northern Utah.
Eric learned the clutch quickly and did very well on the trails. No
injuries!
Eric got some waterskiing practice while visiting his grandparents in
South Carolina. First time on a slalom.
During the summer he got his first job at a local bike store.
With their help, he built his own bike during his free time. It's very
pretty, and he uses it to bike to school often.
