Family Stuff
We started the year with a great Whale-watching cruise around the tip of Baja, together with Steve's parents.

We saw SOOO many whales! Greys, Sperm, Blue and Humpback.
We got close enough to touch them from our rubber rafts.

In addition to that trip with Steve's folks, we had other family reunions too:
Nearly all of Steve's side of the family got together for Thanksgiving at his
sister's newly remodeled -- and gorgeous -- home in New Jersey,
and we had most of Lisa's family with us on two different occasions during the
year.
In the Spring we went north and stayed in a cute cabin on the California coastline.

Then in the summer we had a great trip to visit some friends on Lake Tahoe.

Lisa and Steve went biking and tenting around Oregon in
September
with 2000 of our closest friends.

While mom & dad were away, our friend Richard took
care of the kids
and apparently encouraged them to select a career in the circus.

In the Fall, a trip to Yosemite and Mono Lake.

Finally, two remodels completed this year: the kids bedrooms &
two bathrooms at home,
and a major addition to an investment property in Utah.
As with all remodels, we're glad to be done with both!
