About Eric
Now a senior at Gunn High School, Eric's had a busy year.
He's toured a number of colleges (including a road trip with some friends to Southern California during Spring Break) and is just now adding the finishing touches on his applications. He's mainly looking at West Coast schools (which makes his parents happy) and is targeting schools with good engineering and/or physics programs.
He continued
to drive his home-made Electric MG
Midget all year,
and now that he and Justine are at the same school he drives her to school
every day
(his unicycle also fits in the back... just barely).
He ran track for Gunn last Spring...
And wrestled again this Fall.
Like everyone else in the family, Eric grew
quite fond of Shuma through the year.
Even saving the
poor dog from
deep snow on a Utah
hillside... 
He got to practice his motorcycle riding on trails in Moab.
Some snow and ice on the ground so it was pretty challenging. And the views were
spectacular..
Eric spent all of the summer in Austin, Texas, working at the Applied Research Lab associated with the US Navy and run by the University of Texas. He got to spend lots of time with Nan and Loyd (aka Nana and Gramps).
But at other times he looked a bit strange...
