About Lisa

In July, after a difficult battle with cancer, Lisa lost her mom and lifelong friend.
This leaves a giant hole.

Between trips to Austin to see her mom, Lisa completed her first year as City Council member.
The work started out a bit rough with difficult issues and
quite a bit of contention within the council but is now working out great.
One year down, three to go!

She kept fit with daily bootcamp (mostly in person now), dog-walking,
hiking trips, weekly yoga, and lots of running with friends.

She also organized all Steve & Lisa's trips including a 3 week trip to Austin and
a fifth week-long trip to MTR with a wonderful group of friends.

So many wonderful memories with her mom...

While Nan's passing was terrible, it did allow Lisa
to spend more time with her brother Don, and
they have become much closer as a result.

Back in 2013 Nan and Lisa had picked out
Sealy from the pound, as a dog for her father.

Sealy's now totally attached to Lisa.

Statement car. Statement dog.

Sealy helped Lisa with lots of Zoom Meetings.

And went on lots of walks with Lisa's
constituents and friends.

Lisa also did more driving trips with Steve...

And cooked more wonderful dishes
on her induction cooktop...

And tried a bunch of new restaurants...
mostly outside.

Lisa uses local produce whenever possible. Here she is walking back from our local CSA with a backpack full of produce and fresh flowers.

She won a prize for the best costume at the Fire District Halloween party (she's a "crown fire"!)

Another great year at Muir Trail Ranch with friends.
