About Eric

Eric joined Zipline in March. He helps them debug and then fix problems with their drones.
The drones deliver medical supplies to remote health clinics, with their biggest deployments in Rwanda and Ghana. They have made millions of deliveries.

He split his time between SF (where Zipline is), Geneva (where Marta is),
and Ghana & Rwanda (where the drones are).

Packed for Baja

Very rarely they have to recover the
drones from the forest
Useless lives

But there are lots of talented people who are saving lots of lives with this amazing technology.

Eric has made a ton of new friends at Zipline

And he can still bike to work in SF; he does not own a car, at least in the normal sense...

But he still has the Useless Car

Plus a variety of other bikes to work on

Including a great cargo bike

And a couple unicycles

One of which he can now shift with a hub he helped assemble at the factory himself

While in Switzerland he helped the amazing inventor Florian Schlumpf; see Eric's pic here

He got to hang out with Marta in Geneva and Costa Rica and SF too

And Eric spent lots of time with friends - and family and dogs - often including bikes and/or food

What will Eric do next year?!?

No one knows, but odds are good it will include Marta, bikes,
good friends, technology, and helping to make the world a better place.
