About Eric
After 5+ years living on different continents, Eric
and Marta are getting married
in January after finally achieving collocation in Geneva, Switzerland!
They plan to live there for a few years, for as long as Marta enjoys
her in-person job at MSF HQ, then maybe try somewhere else.

Eric will miss his San Francisco friends, but he and Marta
are counting on them to come visit.
And happily, Marta's friends have welcomed him, and even let him speak English...
at least for a few more months. (Eric is highly motivated to learn French)

They spent the year dealing with visa issues, but are finally settled in on beautiful Lac Léman
Luckily Zipline lets Eric work remotely,
and his new home office has a great view
crew of coworkers to deliver much needed medical supplies via drones!

In San Francisco he had more fun times
with the uselesscar which now lives
at the Exploratorium
It always attracts a crowd
And he took the bus on a few more fun trips
Including to the Eclipse party
He got to drive other fun vehicles
like this sporty little thing in Switzerland with Marta (who also loves driving weird stuff)
He got to use the skid steer in Texas
He spent lots of time with friends.

And at backyard parties too
And maybe most frequently, while biking
Marta and Eric feel very lucky that they get to have lots of fun together,
often (but not always) with the help of bikes.
