Family Stuff
As a Family we continued to be quite active: Skiing in Winter (Justine loved her first sessions on the slopes, with her mom setting the pace through a wonderful gadget called a "wee-ski"; Eric made it down his first black diamond run a bit more successfully than his dad could handle it on his new snowboard), lots of Biking, Hiking & Swimming in the summers (both kids have jumped off the end of their grandparent's dock about 537 times), and we all continue to improve on the Rollerblades Lisa got for all of us about two years ago -- by now we've almost learned how to STOP the darn things.

Family at Hearst Castle

We took some great trips. For some reason, many of our recent trips were apparently focused on crossing the Continental Divide as many ways as possible:

Some other fun trips were in no way connected to the divide: a trip to Seattle & Whistler with friends, several ski trips to Tahoe with friends, our first visits to Lassan Volcanic National Park and the Lakes Region of Northern California; a trip to Hearst Castle (pictured above) and also to Sequoia National Park where we saw the biggest living thing on earth!
