- Lisa quit the hi-tech business in March of 1998, then let go of our wonderful nanny of 5
years. (Paula had become part of the family; we still see her often.)
- Lisa spends lots of time with the kids now: helping with homework, reading, school
outings, serving out various roles with the local PTA, and all the other things real moms
do.
- In 1999 she was accepted to a Stanford Masters program in Liberal Arts, which involves
lots of deep reading & paper writing. She enjoys this much more than all that hi-tech
software stuff she'd done since college.
- A brief foray into do-it-yourself interior decorating (she painted our bedroom) produced
great results, but seems to have ended there. (It took a bit longer than expected...)
