About Lisa

This year Lisa was yanked back into the workforce! Early in the year she helped a friend's startup through their VC funding process. This culminated in an internet-boom-like 3-day whirlwind funding negotiation over Memorial Day weekend. Then she signed on as their acting VP of Marketing after we returned from Europe. Officially she's only working 2/3rds time; this is very hard to do at an exciting startup, but so far she's sticking to it fairly well.

This gives her time to continue with her boot camp exercise regimin, some scaled-down PTA activities, and plenty of mothering for her two cute kids...

Occasionally she also finds time to work on her Stanford Masters of Liberal Arts program thesis, but mostly it appears to be in "deep thought" mode, with the ideas aging like a good wine (or beer?)....

Over the summer she got some skiing in during our stop in South Carolina on our way to Europe:

And of course our travels through Europe were largely the result of her excellent planning, making sure we always had food, clothing and a place to stay.

Finally, Lisa has always been a dedicated "cat person". Much to our surprise, it turns out that was just B.S. (Before Sirius). She is now a committed dog person, or at least completely taken in by this one...
