About Eric |
- Eric turned 12 this year, and looks great in a blazer.
- He's also started his own small business: for 75 cents per CD, he will "rip"
CD collections onto digital devices like the iPod or onto a computer.
- He really enjoys the trumpet, and worked hard all summer (with a tutor) to be ready for
the audition for the jazz ensemble. He did very well, and even made "first
trumpet".
- Unfortunately, a bit later in the fall, his new braces set him back a bit.
- Our dog Sirius loves to listen to Eric practice, and occasionally pitches in.
- He continues to love skiing, can get down just about anything, and is working on
improving his form.
- Here he & dad are standing in front of a 12' snow bank after a great day of powder
at Kirkwood.
- Over the summer he enjoyed another trip to Boulder with his Aunt & Uncle.
- Here he is helping to catch Preble's Jumping Mouse for Anne, a wildlife biologist.
- Last Spring he participated in a local triathlon.
- He also runs a timed mile for school every week. Showing steady improvement, he recently
broke the 8-minute barrier.
- Eric is very creative, and loves to design and build things.
- Here he is getting wet from a sprinkler sculpture he made over the summer.
- He's also built a working cross bow, and a wooden bat on his grandfather's lathe.
- He started building models this year, including a '56 Thunderbird, the car he covets.
- A good friend of his (Simon) invited him sailing on the bay. Eric got to drive for a
while and loved it.
