About Justine

• Justine is now 9, and is growing fast. She's also pretty strong: This year she did 20 good push-ups!

• She found out this year she's good at math, and enjoys it too.

• Over the summer she joined Eric in Boulder with her Aunt and Uncle. They did lots of hiking in and around the Rockies. It was her longest time yet away from mom & dad.

• Justine competed in a local triathlon this past Spring, together with her brother. Of the three events, she liked biking the best and running least.

• Skiing: Last winter she made it down a few black diamond runs, and has also started cross-country skiing.

• But she gets most of her exercise by chasing Sirius around the yard.

• She still loves dance. This year and last year she has been learning Irish Tap.

• She also started Piano lessons this fall with a neighbor and mother of one of her friends (Thomas). She's doing well, and likes it a lot.

• Justine loves Sirius and is very good at training him and his friends.

• To the left, she is working with 4 puppies, and she got them all to sit. She's a tough teacher.

• Below are two photos of Justine with Sirius. Justine has grown a little, but Sirius grew even more! (The big bone was Sirius' birthday present.)

• Here's Justine at one of the museums in Ft. Worth that she visited this year.

• Justine swings almost every day after school. Here she is with one of her good friends, Ivy.

• Bobbing for apples at her friend Liana's party. She got FIVE.

• And mom's still her best friend.
