About Lisa

After retiring from hi-tech in 1998, in 2004 Lisa completed her re-entry: she's now full-time VP of Marketing at a software startup called Catalytic (www.catalyticinc.com). They've just released their first product, and it's been very exciting. But also very time-consuming for her.

She still managed to schedule some great trips for the family. Here she is below on a Backroads biking trip in Utah that she and Steve did in June. We biked through several national parks, including Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon. Beautiful sights, and one day we biked 120 miles -- a record for both of us.

Lisa still does bootcamp 5 days a week -- an hour of strenuous exercise that keeps her very fit. You can see the results in the picture below. Strong arms! This year she set a new personal record of 44 pushups in 1 minute. And these are REAL pushups, not the girly kind.

She also still finds time to cook some wonderful meals for the family. Our poor kids are growing up to believe everyone eats this well.

Here's Lisa with her father at a family reunion in Texas. The boots come out whenever she gets close to Austin.

Over the summer, before she went back to work fulltime, she had a chance to relax a bit and work on her Masters thesis (with help from Justine, Sirius and Miki the cat).
