Eric grew lots this year. He's now taller than Lisa, and gets stronger
every day.
Here he is after running to the top of a Mayan pyramid in Belize.
He continues to love skiing and can get down just about anything.
Here is is at the top of Kirkwood.
Last Winter he learned how to drive a dog-sled in Whistler. His
passengers were hardly worried at all.
Here he is in a glass-blowing class that he and Steve took (Thanks Nana!).
They both made some wonderful glass objects-da-art, including glass
pumpkins.
Another hobby is music. He continues to play the trumpet but his real
passion now is the Bass Guitar (...and the iPod).
His Aunt Cindy gave him her classic Fender Bass -- which he loves --
and after teaching himself the basics he became part of a rock band with
three good friends.
Several hiking & camping trips this year, including Half Dome in
Yosemite.
This trip was with Uncle Don and some friends to Point Reyes National Park, on the
coast north of San Francisco..
Eric tried out a new camp this summer in Northern California, up in
the Sierras north of Tahoe. He had great fun mountain biking, water skiing
and kayaking.
Above, a few shots of Eric in China: on the ancient city wall in Xi'an,
and poling a river boat in Guilin.
At left: All cleaned up before the homecoming dance (Eric seems to
have no problem around girls).
Above left: He ran cross-country for Gunn High this Fall, and has run
as far as 9 miles with his dad. (Note the runner from arch-rival Paly far behind...)
Above: Horseback riding at a dude ranch over Thanksgiving.
