Family Stuff
Lots of escapades this year, but schedules and commitments allowed for only a few with all four of us together.
Some quality time playing in the Sierra snow -- we all love it up there during and after storms:

Activities include sledding, cross-country & downhill skiing, snowball fights, falling down lots, and shoveling...

and we even skied with Eric when his hair looked funny..

Lots of hiking, camping, sightseeing, often with good friends willing to put up with our strange behavior...

Three of us took a glass-blowing class and made some wonderfully artistic creations:

We all watched Eric graduate from Gunn High School, shortly after he shaved off his mohawk:

Poor Sirius had a major operation on his knee (TPLO) that required lots of close
monitoring for 8 weeks during the summer.
Happily he's made a full recovery and is now running like a puppy again.

The girls visited New Zealand on a Hampton family trip:

Over Christmas break we took our second RV trip around the Sierras, chronicled in detail here.

Plus we had some fun parties.

After achieving a record low in 2009, our progress on reducing
Greenhouse Gas emissions took a step backward in 2010,
due entirely to emissions caused by our hydrocarbon-powered Auto & Air Travel.
Clearly we need to start biking and sailing more.
