About Lisa Lisa managed all five of HEA's programs in 2013 (four in California and one in Vermont), successfully guiding them through various unexpected challenges that our innovative approach uncovers. HEA's technology is still well ahead of anything else in the residential energy efficiency sector, which means few of our customers understand it very well. Lisa is the key explainer & director, making sure our partners keep heading in the same direction. |

All these activities, not to mention bootcamp weekday mornings and runs on Saturdays, occasionally demands a short afternoon nap. The broken ankle from 2012 is fully healed, and she completed her furthest run yet -- 17 miles! -- this year. She also got a new roadbike for her birthday and enjoys it very much. |

Here she is in the office, multi-tasking as usual. She and Justine took a class on Faulkner over the summer, and she also enjoyed attending various performances at Stanford and in the city with friends.

Lisa has now done portions of Yosemite's High Sierra Camps loop on four different occasions: twice with Steve, and two additional times with friends. This is pretty incredible, because you need to win a lottery to get reservations and many people try for years without getting accepted.
It is an incredible treat, with amazing scenery and no crowds. She is becoming quite the expert, with each trip running smoother. This year, even though the Rim Fire threatened the entire trip, we not only had enough wine but also enough espresso. If any of you are lucky enough to get approved for this trip, make sure you consult with Lisa on trip logistics. |
