About Lisa

Lisa will answer to any of the following: Hey Lisa... Help mom!... Honey, could you...
and now starting in December 2020:  Councilmember Schmidt... !

Most emergencies at HEA had subsided by summer and monthly payments from our main
customer (PG&E) were steadily increasing, so Lisa decided to take on a new challenge.

She ran for Los Altos Hills city council. Five candidates campaigned for three open seats, and after a
very close race -- only a 1.2% difference in votes between the first and last candidates -- Lisa won by a
SINGLE VOTE! It's a four year term, and she's excited to get engaged with & contribute to local politics.

Happily she also remained healthy & fit with daily bootcamp (either in person or via Zoom),
dog-walking, hiking trips, weekly yoga, and lots of running.

She also organized a variety of trips, including several with a new teardrop trailer and
a fourth week-long trip to MTR with 16 socially distanced friends.

Bootcamp during quarantine, with helpful Sealy

Impressive night cactus bloom in her garden

[Pre-Covid] Yard landscaping with Horace

Sealy's BFF...

and chauffeur

Helped Steve fulfill the Tesla-camper dream...

And made the tiny kitchen gourmet-cooking-capable

Spend time with her mom Nan in Austin...

And in the New Zealand Subantarctic islands

Organized another amazing Muir Trail Ranch expedition, with all the proper Covid precautions

Luckily, the outdoors are the safest place to interact with others (or to nap... Lisa on the far right)

She's an amazing planner with all things and we are lucky that she enjoys MTR
so much that she continues to make sure others can safely enjoy the lovely spot (and their horses)

She spent plenty of time outside, in California

And also in some places where it actually rains

Luckily Lisa has many hobbies that are
well suited to quarantine, like gardening

And sewing - she made lots and lots of masks!

(And completed TWO knitting projects in 2020!)

She continues to outdo herself in the culinary arts: here at one of many backyard dinners

But plenty of her masterful creations stimulate only the palates of she and her lucky hubbie
(like this breakfast of Tex-Mex Migas in Lampasas)

She tackled lots of NYT acrostics and puzzles

and saved a baby snake

Sealy is her #1 dog, but she also got to
love many other dogs too

...which obviously is very taxing.

And most importantly she practiced her selfies

mostly with her quarantine buddy

Whom she still somehow mostly tolerates...
