About Justine

Justine is now a senior at Gunn High School. In August we took our final first day of school picture!
This fall she had a very heavy course load in addition to college applications,
but she still manages to sleep enough and cuddle with her puppy.

She now drives Po, a little blue, plastic, electric car (Th!nk City). He is a peppy little car and can even go on the highway! She also got a ride in an electric wheelbarrow...

She continues to bake lots of wonderful desserts
for her family & luckiest friends.

This is the birthday cake she made for herself:
three layers of chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting in between. Yum.

She still dances, both Irish and lyrical, and now teaches little girls at her dance studio. She is quite accomplished in this area.

She also got to take a shot at archery this summer, but decided not to add it as a skill on her college apps.

She got to spend plenty of time with her beloved puppies and all sorts of other beasts.

She even rode a camel in the Gobi desert!

The most exciting thing that Justine got to do this year was go to Mongolia. Her grandmother Nan very kindly offered to take Justine on a trip, anywhere she wanted! Justine surprised us all by choosing Mongolia. Don and Anne decided to tag along -- who wouldn't? -- and they all had lots of fun in the Gobi, at Ulaanbatar (the capital), and on Lake Hovsgol. See more pictures here.

And much to her father's delight, Justine has taken over the role of senior executive family archivist.
(i.e. She built this website!)
