About Eric
He thinks he may be done with school forever; his parents are very happy he stuck it out.
He does miss all the college camaraderie, but enjoys his current gig at Google even more.

He completed over a dozen races and won two, including his longest race (80 miles) in Reno.
He doesn't brag, but he finished this race
way ahead of anyone else.

In August Eric attended his fourth Burning Man festival, the second with his bus. As shown below,
it was loaded to the brim. He and his bus have no plans of ending the tradition of transporting
fellow burners to Black Rock City.
The bus (not yet
named!) was busy this year with trips to Bishop, Black
Rock Desert, many cycling races, and most recently on a
tour of south eastern California (see Family page for more
details)
He started his first big boy job at Google in July.
He is helping with their long term vision to take [bad] drivers off the road
and replace them with small, slow, expensive, bubble-shaped cars. He likes it.
Before graduating Eric culminated his engineering
curriculum by
designing and building a handcycle for people with
disabilities.

It's fun to drive!
Eric skated through his final classes
doing as little work as possible... while still
graduating with honors. So he had plenty of time for
biking, bussing, and testing facial hair.
He also had lots of time to spend with his large group of
friends from Davis.
Here are some of them over spring break on a trip to
Bishop, CA.
He spent lots of time with his family too!
