About Steve

Steve had another good year, in near perfect health.

In addition to running the engineering side of HEA -- which he loves -- and
receiving accolades from industry giants about the technology they've developed,
he  also got to spend time with lots of really good friends,
bike lots, explore new running trails, weld stuff, make things with cement, skydive,
kiteboard, drive six different motorcycles (four electric!), do a few hundred 7-minute workouts,
help convert Eric's bus into an RV for the big end of year trip,

AND get free delivery of lots of pickles via Google Shopping Express.

Kiting
In February, Steve joined good friend James in
beautiful La Ventana, Baja, to do some kiting.

This isn't a picture of him, but during the trip
he was told by a professional that he had
graduated to the level of advanced beginner.
Wuhoo!

(But only after swallowing approximately
half of the Sea of Cortez.)

Like the rest of the family, Steve spent a lot of time on bikes this year. He and Lisa participated in
the climate ride, he organized two fun multi-day trips with his lovely biker wife, and he met up
with Eric in southern Oregon to bike to Humboldt, CA, (300 miles) in four days.
Eric claims his dad didn't slow him down much, which was quite generous.

During their bike trip, Eric reintroduced Steve to the fine art of eating lots of high-calorie food & drink.

Here's weight-conscious Steve caught on camera eating a pint of ice cream and drinking a soda!

He appreciated big trees and enjoyed some
great trail runs with his #1 daughter...

Got some new bling with his son
(they can now share a set of earrings)...

And celebrated his first quarter century with his life companion, Lisa.
