About Lisa
Lisa can now run circles around all of us:
even the dogs can't keep up anymore.
Somehow she still convinces some of her friends (and
occasionally her family) to join her.
She is still the primary trip planner for
the family.
She organized the unruly masses to go camping, skiing,
hiking and
to visit two lighthouses on the northern California
coastline.
But it was Justine that dragged Lisa to
the White Mountains and the ancient Bristlecone Pine
Forest in October.
Lisa didn't seem to mind.
She continues to delight family and
friends with scrumptious and varied meals.
She also learned how to cook in large
quantity now that Eric and his crew friends eat so much.

As you can tell we are all very spoiled.
Lisa got to spend lots of time with her two little
kids...
...and her two little doggies.
For the third year she, Steve (his first
time), and some of their friends hiked the
trails between the Yosemite High Sierra Camps;
reservations at these camps are awarded by lottery.
Unfortunately they could not complete the
whole loop due to
unexpectedly late snowfall in the Sierras (in July!). But
they still had fun.
She and Steve went on a bike
riding trip with Lizard Head Cycling Guides in
Colorado and Utah.
They biked over 400 miles in about
a week and had lots of fun.

During the trip she got to be part of a 14-person peloton riding 35 mph for about 25 miles! (Below.)
She had more fun times with her strange
Texan & Alaskan relatives...
... and her own strange offspring.
And for yet another year Lisa
was instrumental
in helping Steve stave off boredom, starvation,
financial collapse, major injuries or illnesses,
and the looming deterioration of his
mental stability and/or acuity.
